u3a Petanque Group

A Petanque group has now been launched. The sessions take place at the Market Drayton Cricket Club, where a purpose‑built Petanque pitch has been constructed.

There has already been good interest, and Mondays and Fridays are for u3a groups for regular play. All current u3a members are welcome to join on either or both of these days—no previous experience needed.

It’s a great opportunity to try something new, enjoy gentle outdoor activity, and meet others in a relaxed, social setting. Please see groups for more information.

There is now 7 members in this group which takes place in Jackie Johnstone's house. Due to the numbers now joined there will be no more space for Jackie to accept any new members. If anyone would like to start a new group please contact the committee.

Social Meeting – Coffee & Chat

We have restarted our Coffee & Chat gatherings for lovely conversations and friendly faces await. The new venue is Weatherspoons. Due to low numbers we might have to discontinue the group.
