The Music Appreciation group will now meet on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 2pm. You must be a u3a member.

No musical knowledge is required, but the focus will be classical and jazz.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday 4th March at 2pm
The main 'activity' is listening and discussing recorded music. (The comments can be frank.)
From time to time local musicians have been persuaded to bring an instrument to explain and demonstrate.
(Volunteers to help in this way would be most welcome.)
Each month a theme is chosen. This may be on an isolated subject, though sometimes it may be part of a short series. (e.g. Composers A - Z.)
