The Art Appreciation group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 2:00pm at Sarah's house.
The group selects topics from the broad spectrum of art.
Each member conducts research prior to the monthly meeting, using the library, the internet, or even museums where they share their unique perspective on the theme chosen for that month.
While frequently we look at paintings, we have also examined architecture, sculpture and photographs. We organise our themes together.
No specialist knowledge of art works is expected or required. Our focus is always on our personal reactions to the works
